QD Enhanced Films

The perovskite green quantum dot backlight solution combines green quantum dots with violet LED chips to provide a high color gamut backlight spectrum for the three primary colors (with a screen color gamut >115% NTSC). This solution merges the advantages of green perovskite quantum dots and red phosphors. The green PQD has a narrow emission peak (full width at half maximum <20nm), while the existing red phosphor K powder exhibits strong high-temperature resistance. Both materials boast quantum efficiencies exceeding 80%, making this a high color gamut, energy-efficient, and cost-effective backlight solution.

The emission peak of the PQD green film is around 520nm, with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of less than 20nm. The overall film thickness is 250-270µm, with a quantum efficiency greater than 80%. It can be produced in widths up to 1.3 meters, meeting the backlight film requirements for all LCD displays under 100 inches. In lifetime tests involving high temperature and high humidity with simultaneous blue light accelerated aging for 1000 hours, the film's quantum efficiency degradation is less than 8%, and edge degradation is less than 1mm.
