QD Backlight Solutions for LCDs

QLED displays (QD-LCD) enhanced with quantum dot films can elevate the color gamut of traditional LCD displays from 70% NTSC to 100%, significantly restoring the true colors of nature. Our cadmium-free perovskite quantum dot (PQD) backlight film aligns with contemporary environmental requirements and fully complies with EU RoHS standards, further boosting the QLED color gamut to over 110% (as shown in the figure below) while substantially reducing industrialization costs.

By leveraging quantum dot technology, the combination of white LED + diffuser film in the LCD display backlight source can be replaced with red-green quantum dot enhancement film + blue LED, or green quantum dot enhancement film + red-blue LED. This refinement of the red, green, and blue primary colors achieves a color gamut exceeding 100% of the NTSC standard.

The current production of quantum dot films requires a coating process, where quantum dot glue is uniformly coated between two high-barrier PET films. The core of quantum dot optical film technology has always been the quantum dot material and quantum dot coating glue. Our independently developed perovskite quantum dot glue boasts excellent and stable performance, representing cutting-edge international technology, and is dedicated to promoting high performance and low energy consumption in new display technologies.
