QD Enhanced Films & Optical Gel
The use of quantum dot enhancement film in QLED displays (QD-LCD) can elevate the color gamut of traditional LCD displays from the NTSC standard of 70% to 100%, significantly restoring the true colors found in nature.
Our company has developed cadmium-free perovskite quantum dot coating glue and enhancement film, aligning with contemporary environmental requirements and fully complying with EU RoHS standards. This advancement will further increase the QLED color gamut to 110% while substantially reducing industrialization costs.
QD Enhanced Films & Optical Gel
The perovskite green quantum dot backlight solution combines green quantum dots with violet LED chips to provide a high color gamut solution with discrete backlight spectra for the three primary colors (screen color gamut >115% NTSC). This solution merges the advantages of green perovskite quantum dots with those of red phosphors. The green PQD emits narrow peaks around 520nm (FWHM <20nm), while the red phosphor (K powder) exhibits strong high-temperature resistance. Both materials boast quantum efficiencies exceeding 80%, making this a high color gamut, energy-efficient, and cost-effective backlight solution.
The PQD green film emits peaks around 520nm, with a FWHM <20nm. The overall film thickness is 250-270µm, with a quantum efficiency >80%. It can be produced in widths up to 1.3 meters, meeting the backlight film requirements for LCD displays under 100 inches. Lifetime testing, including 1000 hours of accelerated aging under high temperature, high humidity, and blue light, shows a quantum efficiency degradation of less than 8% and edge degradation of less than 1mm for the film.
